This year, she spearheaded the movement that had over ten schools and hundreds of volunteers involved in knitting scarves for Beauty Night participants. On November 22nd and Christmas Eve, volunteers walked through the streets in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside handing out scarves to people who needed to be warm.
